Computer Wallpaper Maker Biography
I have a confession to make, dear About Web Search readers.
I'm addicted to free desktop wallpaper.
Yes, it's true. And just between you and me, it's really getting out of hand, especially when I come across utterly gorgeous free desktop wallpaper sites such as these:
50 Remarkable Nature Desktop Wallpapers: These gorgeous wallpapers are from the photo collection of the images taken during Microsoft's Windows Vista photoshoot, which means that they are utterly and completely beautiful, each and every one of them.
InterfaceLIFT: Hundreds, if not thousands, of high-resolution free desktop wallpapers can be found here. This is usually the first place I go to get what I'm looking for, and I haven't come across anything I don't like yet.
Pixelgirl: PixelGirl focuses more on the artsy craftsy side of free desktop wallpapers, and they have some very talented artists that regularly contribute free wallpapers to the site.
Customize.org: Here's where you'll find the cutting edge of free desktop wallpapers; you can search by tags, colors, popular, or newest additions.
Desktopography: Fantastic nature-themed free desktop wallpapers, with just a bit of Photoshopping twist. These are fascinating to page through.
Really, I'm trying to get a handle on my addiction to free desktop wallpaper, but you go and visit these sites and then tell me HOW, exactly, am I supposed to do that? Hmph.

Desktoptopia: Desktoptopia, a free desktop manager download for both Windows and Mac machines that automatically updates your computer with designer desktop designs as often as you want. Oh! And did I mention it was FREE? Yep. In the process of looking for ways to add something more organic and natural to my basement I started investigating combining plant life with a computer. I wanted to create something that blended tech and organic into one, while at the same time utilizing the byproducts of the technology as a way to assist in growth of the organic. I took a bunch of old discarded computers from the trash that people had thrown away and used the parts from them to create a working computer. Within this computer I built a soil containment system for the plants. The computer is fully functional running both Windows and Linux, and the waste heat generated is used to heat the soil to aid in germination and growth of the wheatgrass.
